Senior Sales Position

Full time, Remote, EST working hours

Cadmore Media is looking to fill a Senior Sales Position. We are a rapidly-growing multimedia publishing platform, with products in research, education, and virtual events. A mission-driven, customer-focused organization, Cadmore works with high-profile associations, societies, and publishers who produce media content created by the world’s most prominent scientific experts. We create solutions for scholarly organizations to disseminate multimedia content widely, whether through a simple embed or a more complex media library or virtual event.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about selling complex technology to an educated and sophisticated audience. You will need to own the customer relationship and be very hands-on with selling, while also bringing other team members into the selling process when appropriate. You will be the face of Cadmore for clients and prospects and should deploy a consultative, informational selling style. You will also be bringing valuable customer feedback to the product and marketing teams and will collaboratively work across the organization.

We are looking for someone with a successful track record of selling to associations/societies/publishers but will also consider those with a background in library sales.

Job Requirements:

  • Successful track record of selling technology; an understanding of complex sales cycles, and ability to close sales are essential
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on outreach, sales calls and meetings, and follow ups to prospects
  • Willingness to understand current client needs and match them with new products as appropriate
  • Polished, professional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to sell to a variety of roles within an organization, including IT, product, marketing, and C-suite
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to conferences and prospects once travel resumes; much will be done over web conference tools, phone, and email, so comfort with these tools essential
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling to associations, societies, or publishers
  • Experience selling virtual/hybrid event platforms

Job details:

  • Compensation: Commensurate with the candidate’s experience
  • Location: Permanent work-from-home; U.S. EST working hours. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
