Our Story
Why isn’t streaming as prevalent in the scholarly and professional space as it is in the consumer world? Video should be a trusted way of conveying expertise. Currently, professionals and scientists mostly have access to videos that have not been peer-reviewed or curated, when they have access to videos at all. Do you really want doctors to get their training from YouTube? We believe societies and publishers, big and small, can make a difference, because their purpose is bring the best experts together to create quality content.
Cadmore Media was founded in 2018 to help societies and publishers fully embrace streaming.
To do this, we hire great people, build flexible products, and facilitate industry-wide innovation. Since launch, we have been hosting on-demand video and audio, either embedded on third-party platforms and on white-label media libraries. We are now fully integrating live streaming and videoconferencing into the academic publishing world.
We are a woman-led, award-winning. and independent service provider. Today, we employ 13 people across the U.S. and the U.K., serving 30+ leading associations and publishers. And, just as we set out to do, we are quickly becoming the default streaming platform for expert content.
