AGA University relaunches with Cadmore Media to offer a better learning experience for GI professionals

Bethesda, MD, 5th May 2026 – The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) has relaunched its flagship learning platform, AGA University, with Cadmore Media, introducing a more modern, personalized, and efficient platform for GI education.

Designed to meet the evolving needs of medical learners, the new AGA University features a clean, intuitive interface, modern video-first design, and flexible tools that support a wide range of learning styles. With upgraded search and browse capabilities, learners will be able to quickly find the content they need, whether that’s a CME course, a multi-part webinar series, or a skills-based training program, then engage with it through interactive transcripts, segment navigation, playback customization, and more.

“AGA’s educational content has always been world-class. What’s new is the experience surrounding it,” said Violaine Iglesias, CEO and co-founder of Cadmore Media. “We’ve built a platform that not only looks and feels modern, but actually helps users learn more efficiently, on their own terms.”

AGA University hosts a rich variety of content, now organized with structured metadata that supports better discovery and future scalability. This architecture also positions AGA to take advantage of emerging technologies like AI-based personalization and recommendations.

While many traditional learning platforms treat each course as a standalone unit, Cadmore’s platform is designed for flexibility. Content can be repurposed, connected, and delivered across different contexts, making it easier for AGA to grow its offerings without rebuilding from scratch.

“Our priority is giving members an environment that helps them learn more efficiently and on their own terms,” said Maura H. Davis, Vice President, Education & Training at AGA. “By relaunching AGA University with Cadmore, we’re not just updating the look and feel, we’re offering a smarter, more seamless experience that reflects how people actually learn today.”

The platform continues to offer CME- and MOC-eligible content, self-assessments, and sponsored courses. Course progress and completion data are seamlessly sent to AGA systems, allowing learners to track their achievements. Accessibility remains a priority, with ADA-compliant features ensuring ease of use for all.
