Cadmore Media is back on the road – NISO Plus Baltimore, Research to Reader 2024, and London Book Fair 2024: Engage with Us!

Cadmore Media is gearing up to hit the road again now the new year is here, and we invite you to join us at these upcoming events. Jump back into the world of video, publishing, and scholarly communication with us early this year. We’ll be connecting with industry experts and exploring the latest trends in digital publishing and are thrilled to announce our participation in several key industry events. 

During our travels, we will also be taking the opportunity to connect with our valued clients. As we hit the road, we’re not just attending events; we’re looking forward to visiting and catching up with our clients along the way. This allows us to strengthen our relationships in the industry and gain insights into the specific challenges and needs they face. These valuable client interactions will help us continue to understand the ever-changing world of digital publishing and scholarly communication.  

Join us at following events: 

1. NISO Plus Baltimore – Baltimore, USA, 13-14 February 2024 

Our journey begins in Baltimore, USA, as we eagerly anticipate the NISO Plus Baltimore event taking place on February 13-14, 2024. NISO Plus, now in its fifth year and returning to an in-person format for the first time since 2020, serves as a central hub for discussions on challenges and opportunities in the information industry, focusing on topics such as AI, open access, metadata, and more. 

Hosted at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor, this conference will feature expert panel discussions, engaging keynote speakers (past keynotes include Cory Doctorow and Safiya Noble), and a highly interactive program designed to encourage communication and collaboration within the information community. 

2. Research to Reader 2024 – London, UK, 20-21 February 2024 

Next up we’ll be heading to the upcoming Researcher to Reader Conference 2024 in London, taking place on February 20-21, 2024. This premier event gathers experts from the international scholarly communications industry to share insights from researchers to readers. 

Attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring debates, presentations, and discussions led by industry leaders and professionals. The conference addresses critical issues, including open access, transformative agreements, research misconduct, and the challenges of modern research.  

3. London Book Fair 2024 – London, UK, 12-14 March 2024

Wrapping up the last stretch of our first event tour 2024 (there will be many more Cadmore Media road trips later in the year!), join us at the London Book Fair 2024, taking place from the 12th to the 14th of March at Olympia London. As a global gathering for publishers, authors, and literary enthusiasts, the London Book Fair is where the international publishing community unites to build relationships, gain insights, and shape the future of creative content. Be part of this extraordinary event and explore over 100 seminars across various stages.  

This event offers an excellent opportunity to explore the international publishing scene, and we’d love to connect with you during our time in London.
