Video in Scholarly Communications: Issue #4
July 29, 2021
Greetings from Boston! I’m taking over for Violaine this month to show off our new website that reflects an updated logo and branding. Cadmore hit our three–year anniversary in May and our refresh is a reflection of just how much we’ve grown in that period. From 3 part-time staffers then to a team of 15 now, distributed across the US and UK; new sites in engineering and medicine; and hosting virtual and hybrid events across the globe. Working with me on branding is just one aspect of Victoria’s, our in-house designer, role; she also creates custom sites for each of our clients, incorporating their style guidelines and best practices in user experience. We’re pleased to share a recent project that’s been newly launched into the wild, Bone & Joint Publishing’s innovative site Orthomedia. From one site, you can search across a variety of conferences, talks, and podcasts, all specialized content curated from partner organizations. You can also easily locate relevant content by speaker, institution, or specialty.
We thoroughly enjoyed the process of working with B&J to flesh out their idea, and are so pleased with the result. If you’re looking for a partner to bring your multimedia idea to life, we’d love to talk to you.
We also just hosted the International Communication Association’s annual conference, and wow, we love these people! As perhaps could be expected, ICA’s members are some of the most engaged, communicative virtual conference attendees we’ve ever worked with. They were blowing up Twitter, and turns out, they love our platform. We liked a few Tweets, check them out!
Enough tooting our own horn. Read on for tips and suggestions on fostering a culture of product innovation at your organization, an interview with our CPO, and more.
Cheers,
Jessica, CMO, Cadmore Media
