This major society is leveraging the complete suite of Cadmore’s technology as its platform of choice to update its existing, successful academic video collection. The site is metadata rich, enabling browse through the collection by multiple facets, including topics, speakers, and more. The library contains over 500 hours of curated content and is considered a fundamental resource in the subject.
The new site allows registered students and educators to create playlists of full videos or clips and video segments, perform an advanced site-wide search within the abstracts, transcripts and metadata to pin-point the exact moment of the right video to study.
Behind the scenes, the access control and authentication is performed by the client’s access control system, which the Cadmore library calls in real-time through an API service, meaning that the client remains completely in control of how it sells access to this fully-monetized subscription product.
